Course Overview
Isolate. Lock out. Prove de-energised. Reinstate. This course covers the core switching skills electrical workers use every shift, and it also meets the prerequisite for our HV Switching course. Practical, self-paced, and built for people already working around low voltage systems.
Entry Requirements
- Current Unrestricted Electrician’s Licence (or equivalent, any Australian state or territory)
- Currently working in industry with access to workplace documentation
- Basic electrical knowledge and experience around LV systems recommended

- Apply lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures correctly, every time.
- Prove de-energisation before work begins.
- Safely reinstate circuits and equipment after maintenance.
