Course Overview
This is the ticket that puts your name on the EEM register for surface operations. Five intensive days covering mine design, electrical project planning, risk management and WHS compliance, built specifically for open-pit and open-cut environments. Case studies, planning exercises and simulations, not just theory.
Entry Requirements
- While there are no mandatory prerequisites to enrol in this short course, it is highly recommended that participants have:
- An electrical trade or engineering background
- Practical experience in surface and/or underground coal mining or heavy industry
- A solid understanding of risk management and mining WHS standards
