Course Overview
Built for electricians whose EEHA training is approaching the five-year mark, or who just need to prove currency for site access. Same 10 units, condensed into a faster, fully online refresher with real-world case studies, compliance checklists and updated AS/NZS 60079 content, not a repeat of day one.
Entry Requirements
- Current, valid unrestricted electrical licence
- Prior completion of an EEHA course within the last 5 years
- No Statement of Attainment on hand? A letter of continuity from your employer may be accepted instead

What you need to know before you enrol.
Assessment Methods
Online knowledge quizzes, scenario-based practical simulations, and documentation exercises (inspection reports, maintenance planning). All assessments must be successfully completed to receive certification.
RPL & Credit Transfer
RPL can apply if you hold a Certificate III in Electrotechnology or relevant prior units. This can reduce the components you need to complete.

USI Requirement
You will need a Unique Student Identifier (USI) to receive your Statement of Attainment. Free at usi.gov.au.
Language, Literacy & Numeracy
This course involves reviewing technical standards and completing documentation exercises.

Certification & Issuance
Digital Statement of Attainment issued on successful completion, listing all 10 units. Issuance can take up to 10 days. If you need it sooner, you must tell us prior to enrolment.
What To Bring
Nothing, this course is 100% online. Have your prior EEHA Statement of Attainment (or employer letter of continuity) ready at enrolment.
Prerequisites
Confirm your prior EEHA training is within the 5-year window, or arrange a letter of continuity from your employer, before enrolling. Allow up to 24 to 48 hours for platform activation after enrolling.

Important Note on Currency
Industry practice (not a fixed legislated interval) is a refresher every 2 to 3 years under AS/NZS 60079.14. If your original EEHA training is past the 5-year mark, you will need the Full Course, not this Refresher.
